Penelope Gabor was running around the Park in Dark City. She loved to run...and she didn't know why. It made her feel like she was running from something but from what she didn't know. She wore black trackpants, a olive green tee shirt, white sneakers on her feet and her curly, dark brown hair pulled up into a ponytail. She stopped for a moment. She could sense someone was right behind her. She turned her head and was face to face with a vampire, eyes light like Mick St. John's when he was hungry. "nuts." she breathed, thinking of her self-defence training. She reached in her pocket, fingers searching for her pepper spray. They found it, she pulled it out of her pocket and sprayed the vampire right in the eyes and started to run away. She ran a few feet and turned around quickly to see if it had worked. The vampire was gone. She sighed and then turned around. The vampire was in her face. She punched him in the face as hard as she could. She took a step back and did a roundhouse kick to his head. He grabbed her foot and twisted it till it hurt. Penny let out a wimper of pain. "Help!" she screamed as he was still twisting her foot. |

Federico was in the park,sitting around,wondering what his next evening meal would be--until he heard screams--the screams of a woman he gathered. Vampire--no,a human girl. God,couldn't vampires be nice to humans for a while. Federico couldn't stand hearing anyone in pain. So,he was basically her savior--as he rushed over and tackled the vampire to the ground,pulling him off the girl. Federico then growled to her,"Go,run now while I have him pinned to the ground!"

Penelope was greatful when someone showed up after her scream and got that vampire off her. She stood stunned for a moment, trying to catch her breath. "Go,run now while I have him pinned to the ground!" She nodded and followed the instructions of the man who had just saved her. She started to run as fast as she could away. The vampire who had her foot had twisted her ankle. It hurt to run on it but she kept running till she thought she was far enough. She found a bench and sat down on it, gingerly rotating her ankle for it had a great deal of pain. If she ever saw that guy again who saved her, she would DEFINATELY have to think him. She leaned over and rubbed her ankle gently, her dark brown ponytail falling gently over her shoulder. |

Federico waited until the girl left and he looked back at her,watching run--he saw only a little of her,but he knew that she had to be the most beautiful girl she had ever seen and would have to see her again but for now--he had a rogue vampire to deal with. He growled,hissed and beared his fangs,he then growled,"You know that's not how you deal with a victim--"Federico then bit upon the vampire's neck as he drained him and Federico left him,wiping the blood of him and regained his human form as he found the girl he just saved. He then walked over to her and kneeled in front of her,"Are you alright?"

Penelope looked up into the eyes of the guy who saved her just moments ago. He was most definately the most handsome guy she had ever seen. "Are you alright?" He was worried about her. She was a little surprised by that. She smiled weakly. "A little worse for wear but it's okay." she said with a shrug. "He just twisted my ankle pretty hard." she explained. "There goes my audition." she muttered sadly. She had been working so hard to get ready for her audition for a musical in Dark and now this had to happen. "But nothing you should worry about." she said to the guy. "Thank you so much for saving me. Without your help, I doubt I'd be here right now." |

Federico smiled and replied,"I am glad that I was here and was able to save your life--that would be a horrible scene if that man had gone as far as he would have. Federico then smiled and replied,looking at her ankle,"May I? I would like to see what is wrong with your ankle--we might need to take you to a hospital if it is really bad."Federico then smiled and replied in his English accent,"My name is Federico Desiderio,by the way."

Penelope smiled when the guy who saved her life smiled. She loved his smile. She could feel it. She was starting to fall for this guy. She didn't even know his name but she knew she was falling for him. "I am glad that I was here and was able to save your life--that would be a horrible scene if that man had gone as far as he would have." "Yes, it would have been horrible." she said, "And I cannot thank you enough for saving my life." She smiled. "May I? I would like to see what is wrong with your ankle--we might need to take you to a hospital if it is really bad." "I'm sure it's fine..." she started but then changed her mind. She wanted more time with the handsome guy. "Sure, you can." she told him with a kind smile. "My name is Federico Desiderio,by the way." She smiled. Now she had a name to go with the handsome face. "Nice to meet you, Frederico." she said with a smile, "I'm Penelope Gabor. You can call me Penny, if ya want." |

It's a cute nickname."Federico flashed her a handsome and replied,"Oh,you can call me Feder--MY nickname."Federico had to admit that she was a beautiful woman and he was usually not the type of vampire to fall for a human but she was different--she was something else. Federico then knew he felt the winds of change as he was so quickly falling for Penelope. Federico then looked at her ankle,it wasn't anything serious--she just needed to put some ice on it and rest for a few days. "It's nothing bad but I suggest that you put some ice upon your ankle and that you stay home for a couple of days and let that ankle rest."

She had to hold herself together so she didn't faint when he flashed her a smile that made his handsome face even more handsome. "Oh,you can call me Feder--MY nickname." Federico's eyes then immediately went to Penelope's neck as he felt his hunger for blood go throughout his body,he then shivered and turned away--Federico then opened his eyes,revealing his vampiric eyes,he then shook his head and thought it would go away but when he looked back at Penelope,his eyes still showed to her.

Penelope became worried when Federico shivered and turned away. "Feder?" she asked, using the nickname he told her, "Are you okay?" She then watched him turn back, his eyes vampiric. "Feder," she said, "You're a vampire?" she asked. She wasn't afraid. Not in the least. Ever since she came to Dark, she was, for some reason or another, falling for vampires. First, it was Aston Brishen and things with him just never happened and now it was Federico Desiderio. She didn't scream or run away. She just placed her hand on his shoulder and smile lightly. |

Federico then gulped back a few fears,she had seen one of his kind before--and not too long ago--like a couple of days. He smelled the scent of another vampire upon her--Aston. Federico then looked into Penelope's eyes as he asked her,"You are not afraid of me?"

"Yes-- I am a vampire,Penny...I have been one for over six hundred years." Penny just nodded when Federico told her he was a vampire, just like she had thought. "You are not afraid of me?" She shook her head. "I am friends with another vampire so no, I'm not afraid of you." She smiled lightly, "And I can tell by the looks of you, you need blood." She pushed her ponytail to the opposite side of her neck from Federico and offered him both her neck and wrist, since she didn't know where he liked to take blood from. "Go ahead." she said, "Just don't turn me or drain me or anything." |

Federico was surprised--she was actually offering to be his fleshie? She was friendly with the vampires and she was not afraid of him--that was always good. Federico then stood up and sat upon the bench behind Penelope as he whispered,"Stop me when you think I have drank enough blood."Federico then sniffed her neck lightly,he was the type of vampire to drink from the neck. Federico then beared his fangs and plunged them into Penelope's neck as he began to drink her blood.

"Stop me when you think I have drank enough blood." Penny nodded as soon as Federico said that. She took a deep breath in as Federico smelled around her throat. She gasped lightly as his fangs penetrated her skin and he drank her blood. It accually felt good, very good as Federico drank her blood. She didn't know how but it felt even better than when Aston had drunk her blood. She let a light mown of pleasure escape her lips. |
