Penelope Gabor walked into the Rosa Nightclub wearing her little black dress, Vintage slip and bodice from deconstructed vintage dress but it looked great on her. The material hung just right on her slender, yet curvy frame. She, for once, wore her dark brown curls around her face. Her pale skin looked almost translucent that night and her ice blue eyes were a beautiful contrast to the black of her dress, the red of her hair and the lily white of her skin. She also wore black tights covering her legs and black heels on her feet. She walked into the Rosa Nightclub alone. She had not told Cole where she was going that night but Cole was busy, hacking into something for Rosabel, so she wouldn't be missed. She listened as her heels clicked lightly on the floor of the club. The music wasn't the kind she usually listened to but she found herself liking it. She walked over to the bar. "One martini, please?" she ordered as she sat on a bar stool. She pulled out her "fake" ID and showed it to the bar tender, telling her age to be twenty one, instead of nineteen. She got her drink and took a small sip. She had a head for alcohol so it wasn't too strong for her, though if she had more than about four (which she never had before), she'd probably get drunk. She turned around on her bar stool, her ice blue eyes searching the dance floor. Tonight was going to be interesting, Penelope could tell. Aston was already in the nightclub before he sensed Penelope being there--he could smell the scent of a human from a mile away--he then turned to see a lovely young woman with orange curls--he did meet a vampiress already and he kind of liked her,but hey,he wasn't tied down yet. Aston then smiled as he saw that she sat in a stool close to him,as she ordered her drink,he replied to the bartender,"Make that double for me--"

Penelope let her red curls fall over her shoulder as she noticed the handsome guy who sat near her. My God, he's handsome....and most likely dating some movie star or a gorgeous girl. She knew she wasn't ugly....just a bit plainer than most girls but she had a old world beauty about her. After she ordered her drink, she listened as he ordered. "Make that double for me--" "A guy who can hold his liquor." she said, slightly teasing. |

If there was anything that Aston had learned about in his eight hundred years,it was how women reacted to him--they thought he was going out with someone else and most of the time he was but hey he could flirt some. As he heard her speak,he laughed softly and turned to look at her,"Ah,yes--I can hold my liquor very well."Aston then smiled and asked,"Are you new to Dark? I haven't seen you around here before."

Penelope felt like a scrubby little schoolgirl next to the handsome guy. She laughed lightly, her laugh was very musical, as he also laughed about her comment about being able to hold his liquor. "Ah,yes--I can hold my liquor very well." She laughed lightly again. "Are you new to Dark? I haven't seen you around here before." She nodded. "Just moved here from New York City." she said, "I'm a theater actress. I tell ya, it's hard bein' away from The Big Apple sometimes." She took a sip of her martini. "Oh, Sorry for not introducing myself," Penelope said after she had swallowed, "I'm Penelope Gabor." She stuck out her hand for him to shake. |

"New York City?"Aston asked with a raised eyebrow."Wow,you have come a long way as to come to Dark--I personally came all the way from London to be here."Aston then smiled to her and said,"Theater actress,eh? Wow--it must be really hard for you to be here--I would miss the Big Apple myself. But you know--there is a theater here in Dark--you could audition for some plays."Aston then smiled again as she introduced herself,"Oh,a pleasure to meet you,Penelope."Aston did not shake her hand,instead her took her hand in his own and kissed as he said,"I'm Aston--Aston Brishen."

Penelope nodded. "Yep," she said, "New York City Girl, born and bred. I've been there my whole life. But I decided I needed a change for awhile." She raised an eyebrow. "London?" she asked, "You've come further." She nodded when he questioned about her being a theater actress as she took another small sip of her martini. "It is hard." she told him. "I didn't know there's theater here in Dark. I'll definately have to auditon." she said. She was a little surprised when he kissed her hand. No man had ever kissed her hand...except when she was in Lestat and Phantom of the Opera. "Pleasure to meet you too, Aston." She smiled. "Tell me," she said, "How does a British gentleman like you end up here in Dark?" |

Aston smiled and said,"If you need an audition,talk to me--a friend of mine is the casting director there and he will work in an audition."Aston then laughed and took a sip of his drink. Aston then smiled and said,"Well,I have lived in London all of my life and well,I wanted to live somewhere else where I could have some fun in my life and Dark opened up to me."

Penelope smiled. "I think I need an audition." she said, "You think you can get me one?" She hoped he could. Penny wasn't good at anything except theater and if she couldn't do it, she'd probably go stir crazy. She took another sip of her martini as she listened to Aston's tale. "There's fun in Dark?" she questioned, "Really? I haven't had any yet." She laughed. |

Aston nodded to her and said,"That's a promise,Penelope--I will get you an audition. It's a promise I intend to keep."If there was something that Aston learned in his years of being a vampire,it was that he always was a man to keep to his promises. He usually kept his promises almost 90% of the time. Aston then laughed at her comment and said,"Yes,I have been in Dark for over a month and there is some fun here."Aston then took a sip of his drink and said,"If I may say so,Penelope,you are in one of the fun places in Dark--the Rosa nightclub is highly popular."

Penelope smiled. "That's a promise,Penelope--I will get you an audition. It's a promise I intend to keep." "Thanks." she said, "It means a lot to me just to get to audition." She pushed a curl out of her eyes. ,"Yes,I have been in Dark for over a month and there is some fun here." She laughed. "Really? That's kind of surprising to hear." "If I may say so,Penelope,you are in one of the fun places in Dark--the Rosa nightclub is highly popular." "Had a feeling this place would be. I noticed the packed dance floor when I came in." |
