Rosabel was done with this torment within her heart--she needed to talk to Roman. She needed to---she needed to get her feelings for him out in the open--maybe he would reject her? She didn't know--she needed to speak to him and so rushing to the computer on her desk and turned it on and began to email Roman, her fingers quickly typing over the keys: Rome-- Can you come to Blood Night? I need to talk to you as soon as possible. ~Rosa~
Rosabel sat within her office, tapping her foot impaciently--she hated to wait and so she stood up and walked around, her Ipod within her ears as she listened to a select playlist that she liked to listen to as to calm her down. Rosabel then gasped as she heard something approuch her door.

Over the past few days, he had thrown himself into work. It was his way of ignoring the feelings within him. Confusion. Uncertainty. Doubt. He had practically lived within his study, doing insane amounts of research and re-organizing and re-reading his notes on Dark. At every mention of her, his heart leapt oddly within his chest. It was beginning to get frustrating, this lack of control, he had to voice it. Yet no-one was there for him to speak to. That was the downside of being a solitary vampire hunter he supposed.
He visibly jumped as his inbox beeped at him, declaring a new message waiting for him. It was from her of all people, the woman behind his current state, asking for him to meet her. He deliberated over what answer to reply with for a moment before typing out the answer:
Be there in 10 -RB
He closed the study door behind him and descended the stairs to the enterance hall of his house. He lifted a dark blue coat which had previously been draped across the bottom of the banister and threw it over his white shirt. It came to just above his knees, overlapping the dark trousers beneath. Checking that he had his keys, phone and wallet, he locked the door behind him.
To Rome's annoyance, it was raining heavily outside, leaving him with no choice but to take the car. He preferred to walk usually but today was an exception. After getting into the black sports car, his personal favourite, he reversed out of the drive and started the short journey to the Blood Night. Whilst doing so, he thought about her, what he should say and what her response was going to be. How could he voice his feelings when he did not even know what they were?
The traffic was good that day so he arrived a little sooner than stated. Locking the car, he walked up the steps to the building hesitantly. He had been here only a few times before yet knew where she would be. In her office, as always. Rome knocked politely on the door to her room before turning his back to it, still trying to decide what on earth he should say.

Rosabel was not sitting at her desk. Her confusion had caused her to be rather not concerned with the vampires--she had been thinking about Roman--more than often. Every time someone meantioned him or she passed by his home, her heart jumped and of course it didn't help that whenever she looked at her pictures with her friends on the computer--she came back to the picture of a party where she and Roman danced--Rosabel couldn't forget that picture--no matter how much she tried.
Rosabel then heard the knock on her door and gasped, she knew had to be him--he was a bit early--Rosabel then turned off her Ipod and walked over to the door, she opened it to see him with his back turned--she knew it was him. She had been around him long enough to know--Rosabel then cleared her throat and said,"Roman--I am so glad you came here as quick as you could."

His hands were dug into the pockets of his coat as he awaited for her to open the door, she was not long either. Roman did not know whether this was a good or a bad thing. He could have used some more time to figure himself and his heart out. But then again, he wanted to know what she had to say. She had left no clue in her e-mail. For all he knew, it could be strictly business related.
He hoped he was wrong for once. Rome wanted so badly to know what she thought of him, how she felt. Anything would do. Even if she flatly stated she liked him only as a friend or worse, that would at least be an answer. It would hopefully conclude the feelings in his heart and give him a sense of resolution. Even now, the chance still lingered in his mind that she felt the same way he did...
The door creaked open and he turned on the spot, confronted with her beautiful face and alluring figure. He wondered why he hadn't realized just how attractive she was early, when they had first met as little more than strangers. Again, her words gave no clue. At least she was glad he was here, if not to see him. It was something, he supposed. "It sounded urgent so I drove. And it was raining" He replied, trying a soft chuckle in an attempt to lighten the mood.

Rosa laughed softly as she smiled at him,"Well,I have to say that the rain hasn't affected you too much,Roman--"Rosabel then thought that heart had enough torment upon it--she had to tell him--how she felt and how much she liked him--more as someone she could love than a friend--they were past that boundary a long time ago---at least Rosabel hoped so. She wanted to tell him so much but how would that go? She hoped he felt the same or else she would be heartbroken--and she did not want to be--not with the strong feelings she had for the vampire hunter.
Rosabel's eyes then grew soft as she said,"Come in,Roman and please shut the door--I have to tell you something."Rosabel already gave away hints of what she was about to say--she then walked over to the couch by her desk and beckoned him to sit down--she had to do this--she must--the feelings in her heart was too much to ignore.

She was absoloutely gorgeous, far too much to have wounded up in a dangerous place like Dark. She could have gone to any other city in the world, but no. She had made her way here like they all had, even it was so greatly beneath her. In a way, he was glad she had moved here, otherwise he probably would not have met her those few weeks ago. It was fair to say that he felt protective of her, at the very least, even though Rome knew all to well she could handle and look after herself.
Shutting the door behind him, he slipped the coat from his shoulders and draped it over a nearby coat-stand. It always seemed, to him, impolite to wear a coat. It was probably just one of those things he had picked up over the years. In fact, he could distinctly remember his grandmother making him do it every time he came into the house. "I sprinted to the car." He replied with a slight chuckle.
At her request, he walked over to the sofa, taking a seat. It did not make him relax as he had hoped, her words had put him on the edge far too much. If she was going to say anything, he prayed it was something either completely unrelated to the other day, or a positive declaration of her feelings. Anything but rejection.

Now there they were,Rosabel and Roman were sitting so close to each other--this is what Rosabel liked--especially since she knew what she had to say to him. Rosabel then smiled and said,"I knew somehow you would sprint to the car."Rosabel did not know where she would be now if she did not meet Roman--she proably would be without his friendship and if she had his affections, she knew she would be the happiest person on the earth--nay the happiest person in Dark.
Rosabel then smiled as she sighed, thinking of her words to say to him,Rosabel then sighed again and said,"Roman,I have something I need to say--something I think may possibly change our friendship--" Or proably make it better She thought in her mind, before she sighed again and said,"Roman--I think I have feelings for you--and I think I possibly may be falling in love with you."Rosabel then bit her lip, awaiting to hear what he would say.

Her comment made him chuckle, she had learnt quickly all his mannerisms and behaviours, unlike anyone else. He was usually a difficult person to get to know and rarely gave out any personal information. However, she had encouraged him to though she did not know the full extent of his history, only how he had spent his time during Dark.
There was a lot more to his past than most knew, and in time, rejection or no rejection, he would learn to trust her and tell her the entire story of how Alexander Nicomede Walsh became the man sitting on the sofa beside her. "Oh?" He muttered as she spoke, the smile on her face hinting to him that maybe, just maybe she might requite his feelings.
His prediction was correct, blissfully correct. She felt the same as he did and what a weight off his shoulders that was. And off his mind too. He did not have to worry about that any longer, she was falling for him and him for her! "You truly, honestly mean that?" Rome asked, ensuring her sincerity before he continued. "I'm only checking because...because that's how I feel too" He added, a smile growing quickly on his features.

As she heard those words,Rosabel's heart soared with swelling hope--he returned the same feelings for her. She couldn't believe it---he felt the same thing about her! Rosabel wanted to kiss right there on the spot but she thought it would be wise to wait for a few moments. Rosabel smiled to him as she nodded and said,"I truely, honestly mean that,Roman--with all my beating heart."
Rosabel then sighed with relief as she tried to fiqure herself out with more words to say--already she had been left speechless by his words and so the only thing she could muster up to say was as a grin bestowed her smiling face."Do you really? Oh,here I was thinking thinking that you would reject me--but I now know and my fears are calmed now--"

Roman predicted he had not felt so happy in all his time spent in Dark as he did now. The woman he was falling for... No. The woman he had fallen for felt the same as him. It was a dreamlike situation he was still trying to get his head around. Was he imagining the entire meeting? Blinking his eyes a few times proved it wasn't.
He had given up on ever finding anyone, but that had all changed. For so long he was the vampire hunter, nothing more, no strings attatched. Of course, there had been women but nothing serious or lasting. He had never truly been tied down before to anyone. Rome had always been free to do what he wanted, when he wanted. He was glad to think that it would all change now.
She spoke, lifting his spirits again, and he patiently brushed a loose curl behind her ear, his fingers lingering on the side of her face. "Of course I mean it, Rosa" He responded cheerfully, thinking himself possibly the luckiest man breathing. "What made you think I could possibly reject you?" He added, shaking his head in disbelief.
