Treatment from the cousin is better(Kara)

Eloise had come back from a night of seducing men in the Rosa nightclub,she was tired of being like this---her cousin treated her like something that she did not to be--the only joy she found was the friend within Kara Walsh,she was the only friend the vampiress had--and it was in the young human that she felt like a sister to her--she hated the way her cousin treated her--no one should be treated that way--human or vampire. The vampiresss came back to the manor to find it empty--that was good--her cousin wasn't about--she didn't want to see him about today--she had enough of his attitude.

Kara Walsh was just finishing cleaning up the manor. She was tired after a day of working but she tried not to let that show. She wore the outfit she usually wore when she worked, white blouse with a tan shirt over it with a floral print with a red ribbon around it, cream colored tennis sneakers with matching colored socks and a pesant skirt that went to her calves with a pattern of a cream color, a floral print, cream color.... with her light brown hair pulled back into a braid that went straight down her back. She sighed and then rolled her eyes. Darcy didn't give his other maids as much work as he forced upon Kara. What had she done to him that made him work her harder? She went over to the window and began to clean it. She stopped and stared out it, wishing she was free...free to leave...free to live with out fear...free to find her older brother, Alexander. Her mind wandered and suddenly, she heard the door open and close. Was it Mr. Darcy? Kara didn't want to get in trouble for not doing her job so she started cleaning the window again at almost double speed, hoping it wasn't Darcy...

Eloise thought she could hear the scrubbing of a cleaner and she knew that sound--oh,she would kill Darcy if she and he were not relatives---he hated how Darcy made Kara work like this--give the poor girl a break! As Eloise's red high heels clipped and clopped on the floor,she watched as Kara scrubbed hard upon the window as she said,"Whoa,whoa,Kara--slow down--it's only me,Eloise. Darcy is gone for the day. Calm down--"

Kara jumped as she heard the clicking of heels on the floor behind her but she kept cleaning the window. She jumped again when the person who entered spoke to her. "Whoa,whoa,Kara--slow down--it's only me,Eloise. Darcy is gone for the day. Calm down--" She relaxed. Eloise was like an older sister to her...it was her cousin, Kara didn't like. Kara had finished cleaning the window and she turned around. She smiled and said, "Hey Eloise. Sorry, you scared me. I thought it was your cousin." She moved to the next window and started to clean it slowly. "So," she said to Eloise, "Anything new out there?" She nodded out the window she was cleaning

Eloise smiled and said,"Don't worry,Kara--I won't harm you or be rude to you like my cousin is. Besides I am not as scary as he is--"Eloise then smiled,Kara was like a younger sister to her--since she never had any,she treated Kara like a little sister--always protected her like one and even defended her like one. Eloise then smiled and said,"Nothing is new out there--the resistance is going about--Philip and Darcy still rule--nothing new really."

"I know." Kara said with a smile, "And you're definately not as scary as Darcy." She laughed. If anyone though Eloise was scary...well...they were crazy. Eloise was like the older sister she never had and she was happy to have Eloise is a friend but she missed her brother, Alexander, a lot...but no one knew that. "Wonder what'll happen with that resistance... Is it getting stronger?" She wondered about that resistance....for some reason, especially about a vampire hunter she heard about named Roman Bastier. She didn't know why. She still wondered why Darcy had her parents (and even their dog) killed and her taken, her brother missing, and now working as a maid.

Eloise shrugged and said,"I don't know,Kara--I don't know."Eloise then sighed and said,"But it makes my cousin furious everytime I see him to see a vampire slain--especially because of that vampire hunter,Roman Bastier."Eloise then smiled and said,"Although I think it is funny to see my cousin get worked up--he gets worked up over anything that involves that resistance--and of course,the leader--"

"Your cousin gets worked up about a lot of things...and has a lot of vendettas." Kara said cryptically Darcy had a vendetta on her family...she didn't know what happened but it had something to do with a slain vampire and a member of her family. No one had ever told her what happened....and she didn't know if she wanted to know. "Roman Bastier?" she asked. Didn't I just emailed him...? I can't tell Eloise about that... She shook her head, getting that thought our of her mind.

"Indeed he does,indeed he does."Eloise laughed and said,"You know--if I could write a book,I would write about how many vendettas my cousin has--it would be a best seller!"She only hoped her cosuin was out or he would have her head for saying things like that. Eloise then nodded and said,"Yes,Roman Bastier--word is that Darcy and he are bitter enemies--but Rosabel likes Roman so I guess that makes her an enemy too--"

"Your cousin must have some vendetta against my family if he's kept me here for six years." Kara said, "Tell me, Eloise, does Darcy ever let one of people he's kidnapped free?" She hoped he did. She wanted to be free one day. Leave Dark and maybe find her brother. Alexander....where are you... "What does Roman do that Darcy finds so offencive?" she said, acting very well like she didn't know. She had listened in on their conversations and heard about Roman. "Rosabel?" she asked, "Never heard her mentioned. Who is she?"
