Rosabel had been awaiting for this moment in the night to come--she had not been out in while and she agreed Roman for a little of a night where the two could relax from all the vampirism--as she knew that they both needed to relax, especially since Darcy's forces where growing and the vampires were coming more and more in Dark--something that made Rosa feel uneasy. So one could tell that she needed this night to relax and to possibly go out to dinner with Rome--she knew the perfect place. She had told him to meet her at the resturant that was the Rules Cafe. Rosabel had spent the day at Blood Night and so she practically rushed home in her covertiable. She then ran into her apartment and took a quick shower. As she imerged with a robe around her,she changed into a cute blue dress that went about to her knees. {{Her dress}} She wore rather cute strappy high heeled blue shoes. She had her hair down to her shoulders with light sausage curls at the bottom of her hair. She had a light blue shawl wrapped around her arms. As she left her apartment, she called a taxi, asking it to take her to the Rules Cafe. It took the cab about ten minutes to get to the cafe and Rosabel paid the driver for his efforts. He was rather quick at getting there and so she thanked him--Rosabel then looked at the cafe,it looked like a good night as any to be there and so Rosabel sighed and opened the door, slowly getting out of the cab.

The day had been a long one, analysing the flood of information he had recieved from a maid in Dartagnan's household which was proving to be highly accurate and particularly useful. If he played his cards right, it could prove to be the turning point in his crusade against the self-appointed dictator over the vampires of Dark. The night before had been longer, out on the streets of the city armed and dangerous, hunting down vampires and breaking the links of the vampire network. Overall, work had been going quite well for Roman, even if he was in dire need of a rest.
With all the work going on, he had neglected Rosa a little, leaving him feeling guilty. She too had been run off her feet, which was why he had suggested coming out to dinner tonight as his treat. Fortunately, she had a night off and he could always catch up with work tomorrow. So he had reserved a table at Rules Cafe, apparently quite a good restaurant. He wouldn't know, Roman rarely went out if not for work purposes. Slayers didn't exactly socialize on a regular basis.
Having parked his car, a rather sporty and expensive looking black one and thus his pride and joy, he got out, shutting the door and locking it. It was actually quite a cool night, causing him to pull his black knee length jacket around him a little tighter. Underneath, he wore a rather simple combination of black trousers, dark green shirt and a black tie. In his opinion, he had scrubbed up quite well. Then again, he might have overdone it with the tie...
Turning to head into the restaurant, he spotted a cab pulling up. He stopped for a moment as he recognized the figure getting out. Dressed in blue, the tell-tale curls gave her away to be Rosa. His Rosa. Smiling at the thought of it and her, he jogged over. "Good evening" He called to her as he thought just how wonderful she looked in the moonlight.

Rosabel had to admit that she was a little overdressed for tonight but she did not think it mattered--it wasn't like she had a hit out on her--the vampires wouldn't be that stupid--besides,rumor had it that they would have a party that evening--so Rosa had NOTHING to worry about when it came to vampires that evening, she was just concentrating on the evening she would spend out with Roman--her Rome--how she never got annoyed with saying that.
Rosabel smiled as she glanced out of the cab and heard a familar voice as she stepped out--she would have reconized that voice--it was he,the man she was so happy to see,Roman. Rosa then shut the door to the cab and it took off instantly. Rosa had to admit--Roman looked as handsome as ever. His outfit looked perfect for the evening--it wasn't too formal that was one of the things she liked about him--anything he wore looked amazing and was perfect for any occasion.
"Rome--"She whispered as she walked on over to him. "Good evening--"Rosabel then laughed softly and smiled."You look so handsome--"Rosa was left completely speechless when it came to Roman--something about him made her feel so happy that she was falling for him--that she could call herself, his Rosa--she loved it.

He had honestly never been to this particular place before, hence why he didn't know what to wear. The last time he had gone out properly at night (as in without killing something) was months ago, excluding the party he had been to on Rosa's orders. It wasn't that he didn't like company. It was just he had much more important things to be getting on with. And some of the people in Dark just infuriated him with their reckless naivety and put them in a lot of danger- which he had to deal with of course.
Spending time with Rosabel, on the other hand, was not a chore at all. She was a woman who knew how to look after herself, independent and self-reliant along with being just generally amazing. Rome often wondered how things could have turned out had they met sooner. He repeatedly ignored her initial attempts at conversation when she first arrived. What a fool he had been.
Coming to a stop, he put his arms about her slender waist and placed a light kiss on her cheek, nothing too much. Smiling at her compliment, he responded "And you look absoloutely fabulous as always." His eyes flicked to the cab that pulled away, now hurtling down the street. "You know I could have picked you up, saved you the money and all" He added with a shrug of his shoudlers. It wouldn't have been a problem for him, not at all.

Rosabel knew that it was rather odd of her to get into a cab when Roman could have simply picked her up from her apartment but what was the fun in that? She liked to make an entrance and wanted the chance to make herself look rather pretty for Roman as it was only once and a while that she ever got to be with the man she had such high feelings for.
Besides helping the resistance,Rosabel's only thoughts were about Roman most of the time--many would think it would be maddening for someone like her--but hey,if you knew the relationship of the two of them--you would understand why--the two of them hated each other first and now, well, the story fills itself out.
Rosabel then laughed softly as she kissed him upon the cheek again and said,"You always know the right words to say,Roman--"Rosabel then gazed into his eyes and listened to his reply of picking her up,she then laughed and said,"Yes,but what would be the fun in not surprising you?"

The car was, truthfully, his pride and joy. It had set him back quite a lot financially but had been worth every penny. It had pretyt good security measures to start off with but, naturally, he had given it the Roman Bastier treatment and fully decked it out with every kind of security gadget he could fit in. Better to be safe than sorry. He often just went out for a drive to clear his head, which anyone needed once in a while, him especially.
He was lucky to have Rosa, he knew that. She could have had any man in the entire city if she wanted yet she had settled on him. And Rome would not take this for granted at all. She was slowly but surely becoming everything to him, a change he put up no resistance to. It was so refreshing to have a higher priority than work for once.
A light kiss on the cheek had him grinning and giving a slight wink at her comment. Well at least let me drive you back. Save you the money and the time." He responded sincerely, not mentioning the fact that he didn't like her to be out on her own at night. Especially not these days. It was a dangerous place for anyone no matter who they were. Even he had taken extra precautions in coming here.
It was still quite a cool night, Rome found himself shuddering though his thoughts went to her and how much more cold she must be. He slipped an arm around her shoulders, as if they could shy away the cold. "I don't know about you but I'm starving. Shall we go get a table?" He spoke whilst leading her towards the restaurant.
