Underneath The Clothes.
Likes: reading books, cold baths, dancing, lavender, rose, honeysuckle, the smell of warm milk, the sound of satin against stone floors, the sound of shoes on stone floors, the feel of cool stone, riding horses, the feel of a mans hand on her arm, combing through her wet hair, wearing luxurious dresses, being kissed, when it's cold outside and she is by the fireside, discussing interesting topics, singing, sword play, and the feeling when she is about to fall asleep.
Dislikes: he taste of milk, someone saying no to her, a chipped nail, feeling overly hot or overly cold, waking up early, not getting enough sleep, injuring herself, being forced to do something, overly manly men, chauvinistic men, and making a fool of herself, bugs, tangled and messy hair, not being able to be herself, wet grass, almost drowning/breathing water, when her finger tips get wrinkled from long baths, feeling tired, not being asked to dance at a party, being stared at for her differences, overly ruffled or overly done dresses, too much make-up, overly fancy hair dos, and frivolous conversations.
Personality:
Dido is independent. She is not overly friendly to humans. She likes to be true to herself, never trying to be someone other people want. She has her set of morals and values and follows them, but is sometimes too hard on her friends and children when she expects them to follow too. She understands people and their personality very well.
Dido is generally a happy person. But when she is angry, all hell breaks loose. Dido becomes an Amazonian when she’s angry, and no one would want to meet her. Over all, she is mostly seen smiling. She is funny. She likes to laugh. She is loyal, kind, compassionate, creative, and original. She also believes in love and soul mates, but not love at first site. She can be very stubborn and sometimes will refuse to do anything. She sometimes feels confined in her world.
On the matter of love and crushes, Dido is not a flirt. Dido doesn't just settle for anyone, and she rarely has serious relationships unless he is truly worth it. On the matter of enemies, Heidi is not someone to have on your bad side. She is like the goddess Hera when she’s angry or jealous. She can be very mean and sometimes will go as far as revenge. On the matter of friendship, she is a great friend. She helps her friends in need and is loyal and trusting.
Dido is a very loyal person. She will stand up for someone. "I may not believe what you believe, but I will help let you say it," is her motto, in a sense. She believes in fairness and justness. Not eye for an eye or tooth for a tooth so to say. But if someone did something wrong, then that person should somehow be punished, but not by her, unless it's personal. She believes in trust. She will trust someone and in return expect the same. Dido believes in treating people the same way you want to be treated, but her anger could make her forget that.

History: Dido was born as Maria Therese Romano in the city of Rome. Her family moved from there to Florence where her father, a wealthy merchant who made his money in trade from the East, set up his business that would be the Romano's legacy. Maria was well educated for a daughter who was expected to be married off and in fact, at the age of 16, a husband was found for her. They decided t wait two years, but on the night before their wedding, a young man crept into her room. He had been a long time admirer of her and thought that she would be a nice addition to his family so he turned her.
That night, Maria left her family, though she later inherited her father's fortune and has then been in want of nothing. A century or so later, Maria changed her name to Dido and left her sire and his little band of vampires and moved to France. From there she traveled in between the European countries, always following the major events, though she stayed away from France during the revolution.
Finally around the 19th century did she move to the United States, bringing along her fortune. It didn't take her long until she found the city of Dark and moved there, feeling lonely and in need of company of her own kind. So, she has lived in Dark ever since.
