Celeste Volette was making sure everything was ready for the dinner party Aston was throwing. She felt like she was the lady of the house and it was her duty to but in reality, she was just the love of the master of the house and was just helping out. She sighed as she ran her hand over the fine linen table cloth that covered the dining room table. She was excited about being at a party. She heard his doorbell ring. "Aston?" she called, "I believe your guests are arriving. Are you ready?" She made her way to the stair case as she spoke.

Aston watched from the top of the staircase as Celeste made sure that everything was ready. He smiled to her as he walked down the staircase in his usual Tudor-esque clothing. Aston then replied,"I am always ready,Celeste. My,my..."Aston then walked down the staircase as he replied,"You look so beautiful.."Aston then reached the bottom of the staircase as he kissed her softly and whispered,"I should have you around here more often to help me." Federico stopped his car in front of his good friend,Aston Brishen's manor and took a deep breath. This was the first time that he had ever been out with Penelope since he had admitted his love towards her. It was said now that he and Penelope were dating secretly and that was only because many could say that vampires and humans tended not to have good relationships but the air about Feder and Penny could tell that they could make it work. Federico then looked to Penelope,who was sitting in the passenger seat,he then asked her,"Are you ready?"

Federico smiled and took Penelope's hand in his and kissed it,he smiled and replied,"I am sure he will love to have you there. Just be careful,both he and his love are vampires like myself and I am sure they will not be used for you being there."Federico then got off the car and walked over to the passenger's side to help Penelope out,"Besides,I don't think you look silly--I was around in the time of the Tudor era and trust me,you look better than any lady upon the court."Federico then held his hand out to her to help her out of the car.

,"I am always ready,Celeste." Celeste looked to the top of the stairs and saw Aston decend. She smiled. "My,my...You look so beautiful.." "Thank you, Aston." she said, "And may I say you look so handsome." She kissed him back softly. "I should have you around here more often to help me." "I'd like that," she told him, "It makes me feel like I have a purpose when I help out." She smiled. "I makes me feel like I am the grand lady of the house and it is my duty to make sure everything's in order." She smiled lightly. |

Aston smiled,"I try to be,Celeste,I try to be. For you.."Aston then kissed her softly as his servant announced that a Federico Desiderio had arrived with his guest. Aston then replied,"Ah,yes. When the man comes to the door,usher him in!"Aston then smiled and whispered to Celeste,"And you should think that you are a grand lady--you kind of would be if you were not Darcy's mistress--"

Penelope smiled lightly as Federico kissed her hand. ,"I am sure he will love to have you there. Just be careful,both he and his love are vampires like myself and I am sure they will not be used for you being there." She nodded. "I will be careful, my love." she said. She kissed his lips lightly. She watched him get out of the car and go over to her side to open her door for her. Always the gentleman. She put her hand inside Federico's, feeling sparks as always, and she got out of the car. "I'm still not sure about this..." |

Federico took her hand in his and lead her up to the door of the mansion,he then whispered,"Everything will be alright,Penny--I promise you that and if you need anything at all,I will be here to help you."Federico then smiled as the servant lead him and Penelope inside."Besides,I think my friend will love you--friend-wise of course."

It's not like I am inviting Darcy himself over to dinner--"Aston then kissed her cheek as he replied to her,"Federico is a very charming man like myself and is the most kind of gentlemen--"A servant then came in as he replied,"Ah,there he..."And standing next to him was an old flame from his past,Penelope Gabor."Is."

Penelope didn't know where but she had seen the house before but she knew she had either seen it before or been there before. Maybe in another life. She walked up to the door with Federico. "Everything will be alright,Penny--I promise you that and if you need anything at all,I will be here to help you." She smiled at Feder. He'd always be with her. "Besides,I think my friend will love you--friend-wise of course." "I hope so." she said, "It would be hard if a friend of the man I love did not like me." She smiled up at him and she kissed his cheek before the reached the place where their host was waiting for them. She reconized him instantly. Aston... She felt her breath silently catch in her throat. This was not going to go well for her, she had a feeling. Nothing had happened between herself and Aston...except he drank her blood once. That was before she met Federico and her life was changed forever. |

Aston instantly snapped out of his pale state and instantly told Celeste."Oh,nothing is wrong,Celeste. I just thought Aston's date looked like someone I once knew--but I must have been mistaken."Aston then replied to Federico,"Feder,old friend,your date is simply beautiful. This is my lady,Celeste Volette. "Aston then walked over to Penelope and bowed to her,kissing her hand. Aston then stood up and replied,"Forgive me,Celeste,Federico--I need to check on something in the kitchen,Madamoiselle Gabor,can you help me? I am sure Federico can be without your company for a moment."Aston then walked over to Celeste and whispered in her,"Keep Federico entertained,will you?"Aston then walked to the kitchen,hoping that Penelope will follow him--they would have a long talk.
