Darcy smiled big at Rosabel, and hoped that she wouldn't be offended or anything. That he wanted to kill her anyway wasn't anything that should be said.

"Right..."Rosabel replied as her eyes sparkled."I am not like that,Darcy--I am actually a nice,caring person...once you get to know me..."Rosa then laughed softly as she began to drink some more of the wine that tasted ever so delicious. Rosabel then wondered why he was turning the charm on her--but in the end,she liked it.

Darcy was anxious to see if the plan would go as he had... Well... Planed, but he knew this would take some time. Days, months, years... Ha took another sip of the wine, looked down in the glass, twirled it a bit, and then looked up at Rosabel again.

Rosabel smiled and whispered to him,"You are too kind,Darcy--I don't think anyone has said that about me ever in my life."Rosabel now sat up straight as she drank some more of her wine,her glass was almost empty of the wine--she did not even know that she was almost out.

Darcy poured some more wine to Rosabel, like a reflex and looked surprised.
"Well, there are a lot of jerks in this world."
Darcy smiled kindly at Rosabel, as the glass were full, and he put the flask on the floor, next to his cane.

Rosabel nodded as she replied,"Yes,there is many jerks in this world,Darcy--I used to think that you would be one of them but I am wrong into thinking that--"Rosa then smiled,she knew that this was too much even for her to say. But hey,what was wrong with her being so kind?

Darcy thought for himself that actually, she hadn't been that wrong. He was a jerk, in the human sense, and he knew that very well, but tonight, he was the very best gentleman.
He didn't reply, he just sat and looked at Rosabel, trying not to try too hard.

Rosabel noticed this and she was concerned--had she said something that affected him? Rosabel then didn't know what came over her--there was something in her that Darcy affected--something she didn't know or seem to understand--he had affected her so much in a way that she couldn't explain. She was glad that Roman wasn't here for what she was about to do next. Rosa then bit her lip and leaned closer to Darcy as her warm lips touched his own cold ones,she kissed him,not even thinking of the consequences.

As Rosa suddenly kissed Darcy, he actually froze a second, but did not show that, that second. He hadn't at all been prepared, and would never have guessed, and this could not be a trick, way to unnecessary. What should he do? Would it bee too obvious that he was planning something if he kissed her back, or did she expect it? He decided to kiss her back, but then slowly pulled her away.

Rosabel pulled away herself about the time when Darcy pulled her away from the kiss--Rosabel then arose from the couch they sat on and turned from him,covering her lips that still tingling with his kiss. Rosa then gripped the side of her arms as she whispered,"I'm sorry...I...I have to go..."Rosa then opened the door and left his office but when she reached the hallway,she couldn't walk,she leaned her back against the wall and cried silently--she had just kissed the leader of the vampires and she liked it. Rosa didn't know what was coming over her--she couldn't be falling for Darcy,could she?

Darcy couldn't leave her this way. He could not leave her thinking through this, and perhaps coming to her senses. Just after she had gone outside in the hallway, Darcy came after her, and he could notice that she was crying. He stopped in front of her and slowly squatted down there.

Rosabel had been looking down for a moment as she shed some tears some. She didn't know what was coming over her--she couldn't fiqure herself out anymore! Rosa then looked up as saw Darcy squatting near her,he had followed her? But why? Rosa then looked at him,she tried to pull herself away from his gaze but she could not seem to. Rosa then asked him,"Why did you follow me? You must hate me for kissing you--"Rosa's eyes sparkled a bit as tears fell down them--she wasn't coming to her old senses--she felt something developing within her for some reason--it was amazing to her--

Darcy smiled softly and said:

He waited for him to laugh inside, but nothing happened, and he got confused, but just let it go. He had to fix this now.
As tears fell down Rosa's cheeks, Darcy wiped it off with his thumb.

Rosa slowly closed her eyes as she felt tears flow down her cheeks but then opened them as Darcy wiped his thumb to wipe away her years,Rosa then quickly grabbed his hand before he could pull away,she had to ask why he followed her. Rosabel then asked Darcy,"Why did you follow me?"

Darcy didn't really know what to say. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again, without saying a word. D**n! Did she suspect something? Darcy tried to think fast, but his mind had seemed to have gone on a vacation. Trying to sound convincing he said:
"I just wanted to see if you were all right..."
