Oceane knew that with her sister in town,she knew she would have to increase her ranks within the vampire community and when you are close friends with the fourth in command,you also had to be sure that you could be close friends with the leader and that was what Oceane would do--she would visit Darcy--she had already informed Eloise of her arrival and Oceane did have another reason for going,she was bringing Darcy something from Aston--more reports of vampire deaths--Darcy would not be a happy vampire. Darcy was sitting on the couch, in his workroom, with a lot of papers in front of him on the table. Just boring paperwork, but it had to be done. He took one up and started to read it. Some contract involving the nightclub. When he had finished reading it, he laid it down on the table, took up a pen and signed it.
A maid came in with the cup of tea he had told her to bring him, some minutes ago. She put it down on the table, and stood up straight with her eyes half on the floor, half on him.
"Mr Dartagnan, there is a lady here to visit you, should I show her in?"
Darcy looked at the maid and thought for a minute, and then said:
"No, I'll go, I'm finished here anyway."
Without a word the maid silently walked out of the room, as Darcy put his papers in piles, and then went downstairs.

Oceane sighed and took a deep breath as she bit her lip. In her hand,she kept in a folder,the reports of many more vampire deaths--all of the reports written by Aston. Oceane did not want to be the vampire to deliver the news--but she had come for two reasons,to charm Darcy and to give the files to him. Oceane then gasped as she heard that somebody was coming.

Darcy walked with determined steps down the big staircase, with his hand on the handle(?), but still it looked quite graceful. When he saw Oceane he smiled and said:
"Oceane, why this honour?"
When he got to the ground floor, he walked over to her and kissed her polite on both cheeks.

Oceane smiled and almost blushed when Darcy kissed her upon cheeks--she then smiled and replied,"Oh,can't a vampiress come to pay a visit to her leader a visit?"Oceane then laughed softly but then frowned as she replied,"Oh and Aston told me to deliver this--"Oceane then held out the folder."You're not going to like what it is in the folder."

"Why, yes off course"
Darcy said with a slight smile, but when he received the folder, the smile went away. His forehead wrinkled as he opened the folder, but tried to keep it positive by saying:
"So Aston is doing his work? I'm glad to see that"
Since their first meeting didn't go that very well, Darcy just assumed that Aston wasn't going to be so helping.
When he had taken out the papers, and read them, Darcy didn't really know what to say.
"No, you are quite right. I didn't like it"

"I'm sorry--"Oceane replied with the softest of tones."It is a d**n shame that such vampires had to be exterminated---"Oceane then replied to him,"As for Aston,yes,he does his work on occasion--even though he has much on his hands,he still does his work--"Oceane then smiled and asked,"What makes you think he wouldn't do his work? He is a loyal vampire to his leader--like myself."

Darcy didn't notice the obvious flirting, or just ignored it and said:
"Yes, I don't doubt that he is, but our first, and latest meeting didn't go that well. I didn't really get the impression of him helping me after that. But I guess I was wrong."
He said that last sentence with a slight smile.

Oceane smiled slightly but almost frowned as he didn't noticed her flirting,but she would try harder next time. Oceane then smiled and replied,"Well,Aston told me of that meeting and he is fully aware of how wrong he was to almost getting into a fight with you--how anyone could be in a fight with a vampire like you--I will never know--"

Darcy started to notice something in her voice, and the way she said things, and he smiled a bit and said:
"Well, I will never know either, and I'm glad that Aston now sees how wrong it was."
Darcy took a look at Oceane, from top to toe. He thought she was very pretty. Just the kind of girl he liked, when it came to looks.

Oceane smiled as she could sense him looking at her from top to toe,this was the reaction she wanted from him--Oceane smiled and replied,"Believe me,I have known many vampires to have not admit that they are wrong--so you should be lucky,Darcy--Aston is one of the oldest vampires I have known and they never admit to mistakes."Oceane then laughed softly and asked,"Oh,how is your cousin,Eloise? I didn't see much of her at the party--"

Darcy laughed softly, and the news of the dead vampires, had almost been forgotten.
"Yes, I can imagine that..."
He nodded slowly and put his hands behind his back.
"She is fine thank you. No, I didn't either. Perhaps she thought she had something more important to do..."

"Hmm--perhaps--but I find it rather odd though,Darcy--your cousin seems most loyal to you and yet she wasn't at the party that you hosted--how odd."Oceane then laughed softly and said,"Well,since I am like Aston's secetary--he doesn't expect me to return for some time--do you mind if I stay and have a cup of wine for a while?" Oceane knew that it was risky for her to flirt with the leader of the vampires but she did not care--Darcy was handsome and she was beautiful--they both made a good combination.

"She was at the party, but she went away somewhere..."
Darcy shook his head a little and then smiled.
"No not at all."
He stopped a maid that were passing the hall, and sent her to get them some wine, and then showed Oceane to a room with very fancy furniture, and a red sofa in the middle of the room.

Oceane smiled and followed Darcy into the room,she walked to the couch and took a seat upon it,she then mentally laughed to herself. Oceane had to admit that Darcy was a rather handsome man and Oceane would have to watch herself when she was around him. Oceane then replied,"My,my,Darcy--you have very nice furniture--my mansion is nothing compared to yours."
