Aston had been within his study, looking upon his computer for anything that needed to be done--but he did not see anything that needed to be useful. So he strolled out of his study, watching as his servants bowed to him. Aston loved being a vampire. As he walked down the staircase to his giant living room,a person could see what Aston was wearing. He was wearing a loose white shirt and some black breeches with black boots--some could say that he looked a Tudor-like man.

Lisette had traveled to New York again, to see if she could find Edward....with no luck. She finally returned to Dark. She was wearing a white tee shirt with puffed sleaves at the shoulders, black pants, black kitten heels and a black trenchcoat. Her light brown hair curled slightly and hung around her heart shaped face. She pulled her pilot's case behind her as she walked up the front path to the house she shared with her father. She hadn't been gone long but she missed her father. She unlocked the door with her key and entered the house. One maid quickly took her purse and suitcase and wisked it away while another took her coat. "Father?" she called out from the front hallway, "I'm home."

Aston smelled a familar scent--he knew it all too well. Lisette, his daughter--the one he cared for so much--was home. She had been gone for a while to go to New York to find--well,Aston did not know--but he was most glad to have his daughter home. Aston then rushed from the living room to the hallway where he saw Lisette. "Lisette,my child!"He cried,Aston then came to her and wrapped her in an embrace."Oh,you are finally home--I missed you."

Lisette smiled as she sensed her father's presence. She was hoping he'd be there when she arrived. She hadn't told her father what she was in New York searching for....and she wouldn't until she found him. Father!" she said as she rushed into her father's waiting arms. "Yes," she said, "I'm home and I missed you too." She smiled. "What has happened around her while I was gone? Anything interesting?"

Aston was so happy that his fledging and his stepdaughter was home. He had missed her so much that it was not joking around--things were very boring when his daughter was around but he had been quite busy--what with almost getting to a fight with Darcy, meeting Delilah and meeting Penelope--the vampire had been busy but he missed his daughter none of the less. Aston kissed her forehead and whispered,"Welcome home."Aston then smiled and said,"No,not really--well,one thing did happen, the leader of the vampires of Dark gave me a high position in the group--I may be fourth in command."

Lisette was so happy to be home with her father. When things where uncertain, there was always the certainty that her father was there. He was the only father she had ever known and she wouldn't give him up for anything. She smiled as her father kissed her forehead. "Thank you, Father." she whispered back. She smiled and raised her eyebrows. "Fourth in command of all the vampires in Dark?" she asked, "That's wonderful, Father!"

Aston smiled as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and lead his daughter to the living room,he then replied,"Yes,yes,it is--especially since what I had to go through to get to that position--I almost got into a fight with Darcy--not one of my wisest decsions,Lisette."Aston then laughed softly and asked her,"So--how was your trip?"

Lisette walked with her father into the living room. ,"Yes,yes,it is--especially since what I had to go through to get to that position--I almost got into a fight with Darcy--not one of my wisest decsions,Lisette." She laughed lightly. "No," she said, "That would not be a wise decision, Father, crossing the head of the vampires here in Dark. But it had a good outcome..." She frowned slightly as her father asked his next question. "So--how was your trip?" "Not successful." she told him, "I could not find who I was looking for." She hadn't told her father the whole story with her and Edward.
