That 'respect your elders' thing bugged Darcy quite a bit. I it wasn't for the powers, then why. But now... There were the powers. And the knowledge.
Darcy nodded slowly.
"Okey"
He said slowly, as if he were thinking.

Aston smiled and said,"You made a wise choice,Darcy. Very wise choice indeed."Aston then walked back to the bottle of wine he had and beside it was another glass."Now that is over--how about a glass of wine?"Aston then poured some wine in his glass--he was in ranks with the most influenced vampire in Dark but if only the vampire couldn't see the true reason of why Aston was there.

Darcy took the glass and looked at it with skepticism. He still thought there were something strange about Aston. Was he really telling the whole truth, or was there more to it?
Darcy just held the glass of whine for a while, still leaning against the robust desk, looking at Aston.
"So what now, what did you have in mind?"

Aston then said,"Well,that is not me to decide,Darcy--you are the leader here after all. It is not for me to decide."Aston then smiled as he sat down upon a couch and said,"You talk next now--why did you ask if you could trust me?"Aston raised an eyebrow in thought as he waited for Darcy to talk--Aston did not trust easily and he knew Darcy was not one he could trust for a while--especially when trust came into the subject.

Darcy slowly took a sip of the wine, without taking his eyes of Aston.
"I'm just looking out for my vampires. We can't have anyone we can't trust now, can we?"
This was really starting to nag Darcy. Aston was as slippery as an eel, and as clever as a fox. Darcy sensed that he was much too powerful than him, and he hated it.

Aston raised an eyebrow with curiousity and said,"Good point--I doubt you didn't ask this of your second in command,Philip."Aston brought up the subject of Darcy's second in command,this would undoubtable being about an argument soon enough and he knew that Darcy would think that he hated being in the same room as a powerful vampire like Aston.

His voice was harsh and he stood upright now, standing the glass on the desk.

Darcy took a step towards Aston, raised his whole body too look more intimidating.
"I didn't ask him, because I already trusted him. You on the other hand comes in here, all mysterious, telling me you can help me. Could I just take yours word for it. SHOULD I?"

Aston placed his wine glass on table and said,"Are you suggesting that now I am not trustworthy,Darcy? If you are looking for a fight because of trust--this is a fight you will lose."

When it came to fighting, Darcy had skills. If not Aston would be so old, he would probably been able to take him. But that wouldn't stop him. If this would turn out as a fight, he would fight till the end.
"Well, are you, Aston? Are you really someone to trust? I am not so sure anymore."
Darcy shook his head as he continued
"But I'm not looking for a fight. I just want the truth."

If this vampire wansted to fight,he would lose for sure--as Aston was old yes but he was a good fighter--he had been so for eight hundred years. Aston scoffed and said,"I'm sure you are not looking for a fight--and if you want the truth,well--that proves that you don't trust easily--"

Bad choice of word, yes, Darcy knew it. This trust issue was really a hard thing. Who can you really trust? And just trusting anyone, that can be really dangerous.
Darcy put his weight on his left leg and crossed his arms, observing Aston.

"You leave her out of this. You don't know what you are talking about"
Darcy cared for, and about, his cousin. He really did, in his own little way. But she could be a pain in the ass sometimes, and he sometimes doubted her loyalty.
