As soon as Sandy looked away,Cavan's eyes turned into his vampiric eyes,he had seen the driver before--a few weeks ago in an alleyway,he told the man to never come near him again or else--and this was the what else--and so Cavan grabbed man by the collar and pulled him behind his truck and growled,"I thought I told you never to come near me again--" The driver begged for mercy but it was too late as Cavan beared his fangs and bit onto the man's neck, drinking his blood--he didn't kill him. He then said wiping the blood from his lips,"Now take this truck to the Carrick place---I don't want to kill you--"Cavan's eyes then returned to normal as he wiped the blood from his lips and walked back to his car, where he got into it and said,"Tell me where to go--"Cavan then knew her thoughts, wondering if he had a girlfriend,he then said to her,"I know what you are thinking--I am single,by the way."

Sandy had no idea what happened with Cavan and the tow truck driver. She thought he just talked to him and told him where to take her truck. She settled into the passenger side seat. Her iPhone rang and she pulled it out of her pocket to see what it was. It was a text message from her best friend, Rosabel. "Where are you? Weren't you to be home by now? - Rosa" She smirked and texted back. Truck broke down. Don't worry, I'm fine. I'll be home soon. - Sandy She put her iPhone in the front pocket of her backpack and looked up as Cavan sat in his seat on the driver's side. "Tell me where to go--" "I live on Cherry Blossom Street." she told him, hoping he'd know where that was, of course, if you were from Dark, you knew where every street was. It surprised her what he said next. "I know what you are thinking--I am single,by the way." Sandy's eyes widened. How did he know that's what I was thinking? "How....I..." she didn't know what to say, her cheeks turning crimson again. She looked down so that her hair fell around her face.

"Ah,I know exactly where that is--"Cavan then drove off as he watched the tow truck getting Sandy's truck ready to go. Cavan then smiled as he saw her blush,he then replied to her,"I could tell by the look in your eyes,Sandy--you thought I was on the phone with a girlfriend--sadly I have none."Cavan then smiled and asked her,"So,how long have you been in Dark?"Cavan thought he would get to know her better--they had a long drive.

Sandy knew Cavan would know where Cherry Blossom Street would be, everyone knows where everything is in Dark. She saw the tow truck getting ready to take her truck to where Cavan told the driver to take it. She hoped Cavan could fix it. "Oh," she said when he explained and then she said softly, "I don't have a boyfriend....never have..." She smiled lightly. "Not too long." she told him when he asked her how long she'd been in Dark, "I just moved here from New York City. ......How long have you been here?"

"Mmm--I see--I guess we are two innocent souls who have never known love."This was very true for Cavan--he never found love after Rosabel broke his heart but somehow he knew that with Sandy he could possibly love again--maybe perhaps. Cavan was developing quite the crush upon the young woman. Cavan then replied,"You and I share something in common. I too just moved here--not from New York City but I have been there a few times. I have been here for about--hmm--a few weeks."

"Maybe..." Sandy murmered, "Just maybe..." She believed Cavan was right. She now knew it, she had a pretty major crush on Cavan now...but was she moving things along too quickly? She didn't know....but she did know what she was feeling. "Really?" she asked when he said he had also just moved to Dark, "I've been here a few weeks too." She put some hair behind her ear. "What did ya do while you where in New York?" she asked. It'd be weird...yet cool...if he saw me perform....

Cavan smiled,he didn't need to reply to any more of her words. He knew he was right--he was an innocent--well,if you could define innocent--Cavan was the opposite--he was an undead creature of the night and he drank blood--he was a soul cursed for d**nation--forever cursed but his cursed life always had a bright side--he could allow himself to love--maybe this would be the time. Cavan nodded and said,"Ah,it's a small world then,Sandy--"Cavan then gave her a charming smile and said,"While I was in New York,I went to Broadway most of the time--"

Sandy smiled lightly. She nodded. "It certainly is." she said in agreement. She then knew it. She had a crush firmly cemented on Cavan. She was surprised when he said he would go see musicals. Usually guys went to a Yankees game when they went to New York but when I guy went to a musical, she thought they were cultured. She smiled. "Another coincidence," she said, "I'm a Broadway performer." She said with a laugh. "You ever see Phantom of the Opera or Spring Awakening?" she asked. If he saw one of her shows, it would truly surprise her. She didn't think anyone in Dark would see musicals, let alone musicals she'd performed in.

Cavan laughed and said,"You caught me,Sandy---You have found out my two favorite musicals currently. I have seen Phantom on stage several times--there was this one time I went and I saw a beautiful young woman play Meg Giry---but I never caught her name. But I also have been to see Spring Awakening once."As they pulled into the city that was Dark,Cavan then said,"You know--don't tell anyone this but awhile ago--I sang as the Phantom for a performance.'

Sandy's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?" she asked, "I was in both." She laughed. "I've played Meg Giry in Phantom, with a blonde wig, of course, and most recently Ilse in Spring Awakening. I'm hoping to go back to Spring Awakening soon to play Wendla." she told Cavan. They were pulling into Dark City right then. "Really" she asked again, "That's interesting. It must have been either before or after I joined the cast cause I was only there a short while before I got Ilse." She smiled. Cavan was the perfect guy....or so he seemed to be to her....

Cavan nodded and said,"Now I remember! It was you I saw on that stage---I would not have reconized you without the wig,Sandy--you know--this may sound foolish of me but I was thinking about sending you flowers--call me a stupid admirer."Cavan then smiled as he remembered the day he was the Phantom--he liked that.Cavan then said,"I think it was after you left the cast--for someone did say that the girl who played Meg was in a different show--I can assume they spoke of you--"

The corners of Sandy's lips turned up in a smile as he realized it was her he had seen as Meg Giry. "I would guess so." she said, "I mean I was a blonde on stage and I'm really a brunette so that really changes how I look." She knew she looked totally different as a blonde so she understood how he couldn't have reconized her. She nodded. "That was me. I got the role of Ilse in Spring Awakening," she explained, "And I took it so I had to leave. I would have rathered the role of Wendla but I settled for Ilse, with the promise of a possible return soon to play Wendla." She paused and then said, "I would have stayed in the city but something happened...." She trailled off as she thought of her brother Warner.

Cavan smiled and said,"I knew you looked familar---it is a shame that we could not act in the same cast---I would have loved seeing you around."Cavan then listened to her as she spoke of something sad that plagued Sandy's thoughts--he knew when a person trailed off like that,it could only mean one thing--death. Something Cavan knew too often--"I understand,Sandy--you don't have to say anymore."Cavan then smiled and asked her,"Do you have a favorite musical? Since we are on the subject--"

"Yea," Sandy said, "It is a shame." She wished she could have played in Phantom with Cavan. It was said because Meg Giry found the mask, she was next to encounter the Phantom. How she truly wished she had stayed with the cast longer so she could have been there with Cavan. She smiled lightly as Cavan asked what her favorite musical was. "Well, I like a lot of musicals, especially any by Andrew Lloyd Webber or Stephen Sondheim, but I'd have to say the place for my favorite musical is tied between Spring Awakening and Lestat. Though Phantom holds a very special place in my heart." She smiled. Lestat was a amazing musical about the Vampire Lestat. How she wished she could have played Claudia in that! Well...maybe a revival will come up...hopefully. "What's yours?" she asked Cavan.

Cavan smiled and said,"Hmm--I suppose Phantom has its place in my heart as well--I have always loved that musical--it just spoke to me for some reason--that I fully enjoyed being the Phantom--I still have the mask that I wore as a gift from the cast for me being in the show."Cavan then knew they were approuching her street as he said,"We should be at your street in a few moments--"
