Rosa could hear his voice from within the door and she turned around,she could feel him so close to the door. Her eyes shut as she leaned her head against the door and placed her palms against it,she whispered to him,"Yes?" She wasn't angry at him. So was angry at herself. She seemed so angry all the time...she seemed so bitter and it was because she was afraid that something was going to happen. Rosa whispered to him,"I'm sorry...I just feel....I feel something is coming..."

Darcy wrinkled his forehead and suddenly felt quite uneasy. A vampire's senses were heightened and if a vampire sensed that something was coming and on top of that was scared, it couldn't be good. But perhaps they hadn't any connection...
"Rosa? Is that why you are so scared?"
His voice was soft, and one could hear nothing but his caring side, all the anger before was gone.
He reached for the knob on the door, and slowly opened it, and went in to Rosa.

Rosa looked up as soon as she saw him open the door and she moved back to allow him,in her chest heaving up and down gently as she said to him,"I don't know...It's so many things. As soon as Phillip told me I was on the death list or I might be,I was terrified and then that awful nightmare..." Rosa even didn't know that vampires could even get nightmares! Rosa none of the less is terrified. "Something is going to happen to me...I just...I just feel it."

As soon as Darcy went into the room, he gave Rosa a gentle comforting hug, and then let go to listen to what she said. And as she spoke, Darcy also, got more and more scared. And that was no sign.
"You... You had a nightmare, Rosa?"
All the harshness of before was gone, all he could care about now was that Rosa was scared, and that something just wasn't right. And Darcy was a control freak.
Darcy grabbed Rosa's arms and looked her deep into her eyes and said with a slow and determined voice.
"Rosa, what did you see?"

"I..."Rosa replied,looking at Darcy,her voice trembling as she did something that she hadn't ever done before,she placed her hands on his arms back. She looked into his eyes and said,"I saw darkness. I heard screaming,evil laughter...I saw a dark fiqure raising a sword in the sky. There was thunder all around and fires...so many fires. I don't know what it all means..." Rosa's lips trembled. "Something is going to happen that will shake the vampire race as you know it....I...I also saw that evil woman...Oceane..."

Oceane! Of course, he was just a little bit surprised, but he wasn't in total chock that she would do anything stupid.
A vampire having a nightmare was almost as seeing into the future and now... Darcy was scared. And angry. Furious. His grip of Rosa hardened and he shook her just a little bit and came even closer. His eyes dark with anger, covering up that he was scared too.
"Was that all Rosa? Was that all you could see? What was Oceane doing? Tell me!"
He tried to stay as calm as possible, but he was almost shouting.

"That's the problem,I couldn't see what she was doing,she was only standing over me laughing about something. I couldn't see exactly...that's when everything stopped and I returned to reality as I know it." She looked up at him,wondering why his grip on her was so hard on her and why his eyes were so dark with anger. "What does it all mean? I don't understand..."Her eyes were watching him,waiting for something to happen. He seemed so serious all of the time...did a vampire ever have a soft moment or was it all busniess all of the time?

Darcy let go of Rosa almost as if he was throwing her arms away. He got a bit calmer on the outside, but the inside was totally confused. Darcy wanted to go and talk to Oceane right away, he couldn't wait, but he did, for this minute.
"Rosa, vampires don't usually have nightmares."
He tried to find the right words.
"If a vampire has a nightmare... Well... It's not to be taken lightly. Sometimes, it's just a nightmare, but sometimes..."
He didn't finish the sentence.
"But I don't know what your dream meant."
Darcy used his strong voice to call over one of his servants, without taking his eyes of Rosa.

Rosa looked down and replied,"Oh...alright." She didn't want to press on about it. She knew something inside of him did care for her but it just wasn't showing. She just had to be patient. "But the vampires...if something does happen,you'll fight,won't you?" Rosa knew her question wouldn't be answered nor did she expect it to be. She knew he was the leader and she was just trying not to anger him some more. She knew he had enough on his mind already.

Darcy could see a bit more clearly know. His first reaction had been to protect the vampire race, because that's what he first had thought was in danger, but then he remembered the things Rosa had said after she had told him about the nightmare that to him sounded like a war against the vampires, after his mind had been totally to protect the vampires. Rosa had been in danger in the nightmare, and after all it was Rosa who had had the nightmare.
A servant of Darcy's came into the room, and she curtsied as she should.
"Get me Oceane"
He snaped at her, and she left in a hurried after another curtsy.
Darcy turned to Rosa again, and he knew what he had to do. Obviously Rosa was in danger, and he wouldn't let any harm come to a child of his. He had to protect her, but he didn't really know how, he didn't know who he could trust right now, but perhaps things would get a bit more clear when he had spoken to Oceane. Perhaps.
He tried out a little smile at Rosa, trying to calm her, he could feel she was scared still, and his behavior hadn't made thing better.
"I'll fight, and I'll protect you, I promise"
Darcy hugged Rosa gently again, but didn't let go this time. As to both calm her and himself, he stroke her hair and took a deep breath.

Rosa wondered what it was he wanted with Oceane but she didn't press on about it. She was actually more surprised that he was actually hugging her and she just let the moment make her smile as she pressed her head to his shoulder,shutting her eyes as she placed her hands gently on the small of his back,she felt his hand stroke her hair and it seemed to calm her,taking a breath herself,she just calmed herself down,hoping that he was right. That he would fight.

If someone had told him this morning that this would happen, he would have laughed. He had made the leader of the resistance a vampire, and he had heard almost nothing about them at all since then. Just a very few vampires had been killed, and it seemed everything was under control. And perhaps everything was. Perhaps the dream just was a that. A dream. A nightmare. But no sign of threat would go just right pass. He had to know if there were some truth in it. How he would do that he had no idea whatsoever, but he'd figure it out. Right now the most important thing was to make sure no harm would come to Rosa.
Darcy kissed the top of Rosa's head, and then rested his own head gently on hers.
"I'm sure it was just a bad dream. No harm will come to you, I hope you know that. I wouldn't let it."

Rosa's eyes were shut still as she just felt like she could soar now. He was actually showing he cared about her,it was her one true hope. Rosa smiled lightly,her head still upon his shoulder. Rosa somehow knew his words were true. She smiled as she felt his head on top of hers. It was so soothing to her. Rosa opened her eyes. She knew that she couldn't be dreaming. She knew it felt real.

Darcy shut his eyes as Rosa opened hers. He wasn't scared for himself, but what if someone got to Rosa. But perhaps he underestimated her, but he felt like he should protect her from all harm, lock her up somewhere until it was all right to go out again. Or keep her with him at all times, so he was certain nothing would harm her. After all, she was his child. It hadn't always been so, he had let her go without someone that could protect her, and she had been attacked, but his feelings for her were stronger now, and she were more that the result of his awesome plan.

Rosa looked up at him,her eyes watching his face as she wondered what he was thinking in that vampiric brain of his. Or what was stirring within his mind. Her feelings for him were strange to admit and they were strange to say at often times but she knew she looked up to him and her feelings were stronger for him now. She knew he wanted to protect his vampiress. She just wanted to say to him to not go...to not leave her. If her fears were true...she looked at him to say something but she was interrupted when a servant came in and curtised to Darcy,telling him that Oceane had arrived.
