Penelope Gabor thought she was going to die. She was attacked by a vampire. He had broken her leg and was cut up so bad that she thought she was going to bleed to death. She didn't want to, at least not without seeing Federico Desiderio again. Her Feder...
The "dreams" (if you could call them dreams, more like visions in Penelope's opinion) took her to Federico. She loved him more than she could ever express in words. The only thing she was afraid was losing Federico. She didn't fear death, even as she faced it at that very moment.
Penelope hoped someone knew to call Feder...or that Feder could sense that something with wrong with her as she laid unconscious with a oxygen tube in her nose from a vampire attack. She didn't know why she was attacked. All she knew was that she was attacked by a vampire who wanted her dead for some unknown reason. She was slowly starting to come to and she hoped in her heart that there would be a vampire by her bedside, the vampire that she loved with all her heart and soul

Federico had been sitting at home,reading some of Twilight,trying to understand why so many liked the books and he knew why. It twisted up many of the myths he had found out. Federico then jumped as his phone rang, he thought it was Penny so he went to his phone and answered it. To his shock, it was the Dark City hospital calling him to say that Penelope Gabor was in the hospital. Federico was not happy as he said he was on his way. Federico had pratically rushed out of his apartment,to his car and to the hospital and with such quick speed, he was to the front of the hospital where he was directed to her room where he stood in the door as he whispered, "Penny?"

Penelope was fighting a heavy black sea of unconsiousness. The only sound that helped her find her way out of the sound (or memory, she didn't know which) of Feder saying her name. "Penny...". Slowly but surely, she felt herself break free of the black water of unconciousness and she really heard Federico's voice saying her name. "Feder...?" she said in a soft voice but she knew he could hear her as she struggled to fully break free of the black sea of unconsiousness.

Federico rushed to her side as he saw the damage that happened to Penelope, he could smell the vampire on her. Who in the world could have done this? Federico then asked her,"Penny,Oh my god...who...what..." Federico could have sworn if he could cry he would. Federico was shaking as he asked her,"Are you alright?"

Penelope heard Federico's voice and it helped her break through the dark sea of unconciousness and her eyes fluttered. Her vision focused on Feder's handsome face. "Feder..." she whispered softly. "Penny,Oh my god...who...what..." The first thing she did was reach for his hand. When their hands touched, Penelope knew she was alive and not dead. "Are you alright?" She sighed a bit. "I've been better..." she said softly.

Federico held her hand tightly as he looked up at her,kneeling by her bedside. He couldn't believe someone had did this to her and right under his nose. Federico then laughed at her response as he said to her," I'm so sorry....god,I should have been there....what--who did this to you?"

Federico knew who it was that did this to Penny. His Penny. He knew that his enemy Romain was evil but not this evil...Federico knew that Penelope fought him off as much as she could and he was proud of her....but all this happened because of him he knew that he could not stand to see her in pain again. Federico had tears in his eyes--blood tears but still. Federico then replied,"Penelope...when you get well,I need you go...go spend time with your family."

"Penelope...when you get well,I need you go...go spend time with your family." "What?" Penelope said, clearly surprised and shocked by Federico's request. Her eyes moved frantically around his face, hoping he was joking. "Are you s...No!" she cried, "No!" she started to sit up on her hospital bed, despite the oxygen tube on her face and IVs in her arms. They pushed her back on the bed but she still cried out. "How--I don't even know what you're say--...How...What are you talking about? You want me to go away? I can't... No, I can't --...I can't just leave you...I--" she stopped short, unsure of what to say. Tears formed quickly in her dark brown eyes.

"For your protection..."Federico replied. His heart was breaking, he did not want to send her away as it would break his heart to do so. He loves her with all his heart and soul but he couldn't endanger Penelope. "Penny,you don't know this man like I do. You don't...if he didn't kill you now...he will certainly come back for you and I don't want to risk that."

"What else are we going to do?" Federico replied to her,his eyes a little mad some. Federico then calmed down," Do you have any idea how this is for me?!" Federico was crying blood tears as he replied to her again,"He will stop it nothing until you are his vampiress or I'm stricken with grief and he kills you! Unless you have any other plans,any better ones...do let me know now!"

Federico stood up and he said,"There's only one other option we could do....but....I don't know...."Federico knew that this idea was crazy...even for him but he knew that he couldn't bear to live without her and she could not live without Feder and he didn't...he didn't know if this would work. "The only option we have is if you move in with me..."
