Rosabel knew she was in trouble....well,her name was Lilly now as she was in hiding from the vampire hunters but she had done something that she knew that Darcy would most likely kill her for...she was standing in the study of his manor,over looking one of the many books that was laying around. She could sense something was wrong...someone was mad. Rosa only knew for the longest time now that she had set Celeste free behind Darcy's back but she had too....she wasn't leader still but she had to adjust to that fact....but it was hard... [Her nightgown and robe she is wearing]  |

Darcy's first reaction was to hit the vampire that had told him the rumor that had gone around. The vampire had, out of curiosity and stupidity, wanted to know if it was true, and tried to smoothly ask Darcy if it was so. He knew it hadn't gone that well when he saw Darcy digging his nails into his palms.
Darcy didn't say anything, and didn't really notice the vampire quickly get away from him. He just wondered why he hadn't heard it before everybody else, and why, why!, she had done it. Not that he cared that Celeste no longer was his mistress. He had planed to let Aston have his way, anyway, but to go behind his back, and what made her think she could do something like that? The feelings he had before for The Leader of the Resistance, came back. The hate.
The arrogance!
With supernatural speed he ran to his room, in the other end of the mansion, to the study, where he could sense Lilly.
He burst open the doors and with determined and angry steps he went over to her. His face was hard and anyone would know that now was not the time to mess with him.
"What made you think you could do something like that?"
He shouted at Lilly.

Rosabel jumped as Darcy opened the door and fear went into her eyes as he stormed in,she had never seen him so pissed off in her life and her vampric life had only started. Lilly closed the book with a slam as she placed it down,her face close to Darcy's own as she said to him,"You didn't act quickly enough so I did! I did what any vampire would do. I knew what you would have done to that girl,Celeste. I reunited her with Aston,it was the right thing to do...not that you would know what the right thing is."

Darcy kept digging his nails into his palms, but as she acted, he might not be able to control it anymore, and why should he? That little rat deserved it!
"You are no leader anymore, Rosa! You have not any saying here! And you have no idea what a real vampire would do, you are the most pathetic excuse of a vampire I have ever seen. You are so human, you make me sick!"
All that wasn't quite true, but in his anger, all the little things seemed so big. The fact that she was so a young vampire, didn't make her human, but right now, she was Rosa to him.
He raised his hand to slap her...

Rosa saw that hand that was raised to slap her and she grabbed it,causing her nails to go into his hand as she replied," DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TOUGH THIS IS?!" She pratically yelled that out. "You have kept your leader status while I have not....it's hard for me to let this go! It's going to take me a while to get used to not being leader! I should have at least some say,Darcy! You keep me locked up and you have spies watch over me. It's maddening! You think I didn't fell any remorse after what I did? Well,let me tell you what? I did! I was angry at myself cause I knew I would be betraying you!"

Darcy growled at Lilly when she dug her nails into his hand, but stopped when she started yelling at him. His angry look still remained though, and he still felt like slapping her.
From behind his teeth he asked:
"Then why did you do it? Yes, you were a leader, but not over the vampires! What makes you think you, a freshly made vampire, could have anything to say around here? Why should I let you? Because you have a hard time letting go of being a leader? Never. I don't take this lightly."
Darcy jerked his hand away from her grip.
"And you know I am only trying to protect you, but that isn't so easy when you make me want to kill you myself."

When he jerked his hand away,Rosabel's hard cold look still stayed as much as his own,she couldn't ever understand his tempers--this was the first time she had really seen it but still,it half terrified her and half made her strong. Lilly stared at him and she said through gritted teeth," I did what any vampire would have done. Saved an innocent vampire life. I knew what you were going to do to Celeste. You would have exterminated her and watched as Aston was put through torment! I am sorry that I acted upon it but it had to be done!" Lilly didn't even know Darcy's plans but you could not blame her....she didn't listen well. Lilly then said to him," I should have some say as I have secrets upon my mind that you couldn't even dream! I could be good use to the vampires and if you're trying to protect me,you have a funny way of showing it,Darcy..."

Darcy stared back at Rosa and narrowed his eyes when he answered.
"You spoiled little brat! You should be lucky you aren't already dead by now! And you have no idea what I was going to do with Celeste. What exactly did you think I was going to do?"
He was earnestly interested, because he had had no intention to harm her at all, and he wanted to know what crazy things Rosa's mind had cooked up.

Rosabel fell into a chair at his words,stunned by his anger and blood tears beginning to swell up into her eyes. Rosa glared as she gripped the arms of the chair she sat in as she replied," It's not what I think Darcy....it's only what your first in command Phillip told me. He told me that you would have disposed of the girl and I believed him so that was what caused my action--believe me if he had not said anything at all,I would have been the good vampire and stood by."

Darcy smirked and felt how the tiny red dots on his hand slowly disappeared, and he didn't care that Rosa was crying, he was too angry for that.
Oh, so she was trying to lay the blame on Philip. Yes, he had often disposed the girls before, but there were girls he had let be, and no reason for her to do something like that. Why hadn't she talked to Darcy first? He would have let her go. Could he ever trust her now?
The thought of not being able to trust Rosa made him quite angry and he started to breathe heavily, breathing through his nose.
"Philip, ey? And you had no thought of asking me?"

Rosabel's breath was also panting heavily now as she stood up and said,"Yet again,Phillip told me I shouldn't if I didn't want a beating by you...I don't blame that you're angry with me but I thought if I asked you that you would do exactly this..you would get angry with me." Rosabel groaned as she fell to the ground in frustration as she looked up at him,"For the life of me,I am trying not to act like a spoiled brat like you claim I am but it's hard trying to get you to trust me! I have failed at that..." Rosa then stood up and asked," What pray tell would you have done if I had not interferred? I'm willing to listen....that is...if you calm down first."

Darcy slowed down his breathing, and when Rosa fell to the ground his first reaction was to get her up again, but it went away as fast as it had hit him, and he just looked down at her.
"I did trust you, but now... I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that again..."
He kept looking at Rosa as she got up on her feet again. Yes, he had trusted her as much as he could ever trust someone, so not that much, but it was all he could do.
"I would have let her go. Eventually."
This he said with a stern face, as he was still angry and tiring of her questioning him.

[I'm VERY tempted to have Phillip walk in and pratically insult Rosa and make her theories be true...]
Rosa's anger was greatly returning as he said that he could probably not trust her ever again...because of one mistake?! Rosabel listened to what he had to say and she was a little surprised at him,so Phillip was wrong....Rosabel said calmly,trying to make him less and less angry at her," You would have? Then why does everyone tell me that you would have killed her? Even you're...." Rosabel stopped herself as she took a deep breath,"Look,I know you're tired of me questioning you,I'll stop...but I need you to calm down...I'm trying not to make you hate me again..."

"Yes! Yes, of course I would have."
He wouldn't tell her thought that the reason for it was that Aston probably would kick his ass if he wouldn't. And he wouldn't tell her that he used to kill most of the others, and just ignored that question.
It felt like he was getting through to Rosa now, and it seemed like he could reason with her.
"Well, it's not that hard. Just don't go behind my back again..."
[Yeah... Haven't played with Philip yet 0.o But... What theories?]

[That Phillip lied to Rosa so that she went behind Darcy's back]
Rosabel nodded and replied,"That I can do....." Rosa then looked up at Darcy with baited breath as she asked him,"Now can you calm down? I do have some information for you. Information that you could use...if you choose to that is..." Lilly actually had a couple pieces of information. One involving his cousin....if he chose to listen.
