Aston laughed softly and replied,"Yes,your father apparantly thought I would be better suited with her than you--but that happened just before I saw you walk in with Oceane,the two of you giggling. I knew that in my vampire heart that Oceane was beautiful,yes but your beauty was like an angel fallen out of the heavens."Aston then kissed her and whispered,"I will never forget I love you--"Aston then wrapped his arms around Celeste as he pulled her close as he kissed her passionately. Aston then released the kiss as he whispered,"Can you come to a dinner party I am holding in two days?"

She still felt like she wasn't pretty compaired to her sister. She felt Oceane was the beauty of the family and she was not. She kissed his lips lightly. "I will never forget I love you--" "And I will never forget I love you, no matter what." She wrapped her arms around Aston's neck as he pulled her close to him and kissed him passionately. "Can you come to a dinner party I am holding in two days?" Celeste thought for a moment. "Of course." she answered, "Who else will be attending?" |

Aston's hands were now entangled within Celeste's hair as he whispered to her,"Not many--just you,me and my friend,Federico--he is bringing someone with him--his date or something,I don't know--but it is just a gathering of vampires,nothing more--"Aston then smiled and kissed her passionately,refusing to let her go.

Aston shook his head and replied,"No. He hasn't even told me who she is--but he knows who you are since I always talked about you."Aston then kissed Celeste back,he didn't want her to leave him--especially since Darcy was going to be around her most often. Aston then stopped kissing her as he asked her,"Stay with me...don't ever leave me...you can stay here with me...please..I can't bear to be away from you for weeks and weeks on end."

She kissed Aston passionately. She loved Aston more than everything else in the world. "Stay with me...don't ever leave me...you can stay here with me...please..I can't bear to be away from you for weeks and weeks on end." She smiled lightly. "I will never leave you again." she said, "I will be here as long as you want me to be."

If you are indeed his mistress,what if he finds out that you are staying with me..."

Aston smiled within the kiss as he knew that Celeste staying with him would be yet another secret that he would have to keep from Darcy--not that he would have a need to tell him any secret of Aston's. Aston then released the kiss and replied,"Now I have two secrets to keep from Darcy--well,three--if you count the stepd--"Aston then stopped himself--he had almost told the secret that he had not yet told Celeste--the stepdaughter that lived in his house as well.

"Because..."Aston replied,looking around,trying to summarize the words of why he had to hide his daughter--Aston then replied,"Because if any slayers found out I had a daughter--I thought that they would use her against me...and she is the closest thing that I have to me right now that I treasure besides your love that it is..."Aston then had a thought--perhaps it was time that Lisette and Celeste met. Aston then replied to Celeste,"Maybe perhaps you should meet her now..."Aston then looked to his staircase and called out to Lisette,"Lisette! Could you come downstairs please?"

Lisette Brishen was up in her room. She was wondering where Edward was while reading a novel called "Beast", which was a retelling of the story Beauty and the Beast. She was almost done with it and she really liked it. She then heard her father call her. "Lisette! Could you come downstairs please?" "Coming, Father!" she called back. She marked her place in the book and left her room, closing the door behind her, like she always did. She was wearing a long sleave dress that was a shimmery silver color, while not glittery. Her light brown hair hung past her shoulders in ringlets. She walked to where she thought her father's voice came from. She entered and saw her father and a woman she did not know kneeling on the floor. "You called me, Father?" she asked.

Aston smiled and whispered to Celeste,"Thank you,my love...anything I do that involves the slayers raises my fatherly skills...."Aston then helped Celeste up from the floor as he wrapped his arm around her waist. He did this just as he heard Lisette come down from upstairs. Aston then smiled to her and replied,"Ah,Lisette,there you are.."Aston then walked over to his daughter and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and replied,"Lisette,this is Celeste Volette..she will be living with us for a while."Aston then whispered into Lisette's ear,"Be nice to her...she may be here for forever and I really love her..she may be your step-mother if all things work out..."
